ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Dallas Lander—an audio engineer and multi-instrumentalist based in Melbourne (Naarm). My go-to instruments are guitar, drums, and bass, and I love working across a wide range of genres, with a particular soft spot for indie rock and pop.
I’ve been immersed in music for over fifteen years. Before stepping into the audio world professionally, I spent several years writing and recording music as a passion project. That creative spark eventually led me to pursue audio as a career, and I haven’t looked back since.
Recording and mixing music is more than just work for me—it’s what I live for. I find real joy in capturing the sonic essence of a track and shaping it with my own creative touch. Whether it’s experimenting with mic setups, layering effects or obsessing over the perfect mix, this is where I feel most inspired.
I work as a freelance engineer with a range of artists, operating from my home studio in Brunswick West or hiring larger studio spaces when the project calls for it. I’m always open to working with new sounds and styles and I genuinely enjoy discovering what makes each project unique.
